A novembre il terzo libro di Isabel Bookbinder: scrittrice, desiner e ora Weeding Planner!!

Bridgettiane o Beckiane? Cosa importa, il ritorno di quella pazza di Isabel Bookbinder non può che renderci felici. Le ironiche disavventure di questa ventiseienne londinese dopo il maldestro tentativo di sfondare come scrittrice (nel libro di esordio “La favolosa doppia vita di Isabel Bookbinder”) e poi come stilista (in “Isabel Bookbinder (neodesiner) si da alla moda”) non potevano rimanere isolate: ci voleva proprio un seguito!! Purtroppo per noi, per avere il terzo volume della saga scritta da Holly Mcqueen dovremo aspettare ancora qualche mese, precisamente novembre, quando la Sperling & Kupfer farà uscire la traduzione italiana di “Confetti Confidential”! Prima di proseguire però ci vuole una precisazione: se non avete mai sentito parlare di Isabel Bookbinder (che sì, assomiglia molto a Becky la protagonista dei romanzi della Kinsella, ma chissene, ci piace uguale!) correte in libreria, comprate i due volumi già usciti, leggeteli tutti d’un fiato (vi giuro che “vanno giù” che è un piacere), poi tornate a leggere questo post. Per tutte le altre, quelle che hanno adorato le curiose lettere che Isabel ama inviare in particolare al suo direttore di banca per evitarlo (causa carte di credito in rosso!), eccovi qualche gustosa anticipazione. In italia il libro avrà il titolo di “Isabel Bookbinder Wedding Planner” e ovviamente vedrà Isabel cimentarsi nel ruolo di organizzatrice di matrimoni, prima per una nota agenzia di organizzazione poi in proprio. Ovviamente prima del lieto fine Isabel ne combinerà di tutti i colori (e di mezzo ci andrà come al solito l’amica Lara) ma forse neanche questo lavoro sarà quello perfetto per lei, anche perché si vocifera che la bravissima Mcqueen sia già al lavoro sul quarto libro. Ora non ci resta che iniziare il conto alla rovescia!!!

ISABEL BOOKBINDER IS BACK!! Are you ready??

Like Bridget o Becky? Not important, Isabel Bookbinder is back and we are very, very, happy! After the “Fabulously Fashionable” and “The Glamorous (Double) Life of Isabel Bookbinder”, Holly Mcqueen write a new adorable book, where Isabel, after trying to do novelist and also the fashion desiner now try to do the wedding planner. In Italy the books “Confetti Confidential” has been not published (in november) but in U.S. was already beloved. Before continuing, i need a clarification: if you've never read of Isabel Bookbinder (which looks like the Kinsella’s protagonist Becky, but we like the same!) run in a bookstore, bought the last two books, read them all in one go and so go back and read this post. For the others, those who love the curious letters tha Isabel send to her bank manager, enjoy the new life of Isabel, that now is a wedding planner, first for a well-known agency, second in her own agenzy. Of course, before the happy ending, Isabel make a lot of mess (expecially with her friend Lara), but perhaps not this work will be perfect for her, because there are rumors that Holly Mcqueen is already at work on the fourth book. Now we just have to start the countdown!
